labor pains?
I have been having these terrible pains. My stomach tightens and my back feels like its on fire. This is my 3 rd pregnancy but I never went into labor with my other 2 kids. Is this contractions or could they be braxton hicks? Are braxton hicks painful?
Its been randomly over the past couple days but I had 5 in a matter of 2 hours today. The back pain is remaining the whole time but the tightness in my belly comes and goes. I am 37 wks +6. I have called my doctor and questioned them before on pains I've gotten but they always say it's not contractions and I will know cause the pain is awful. Well these pains are AWFUL
Most drs will tell you braxton hicks don't hurt....they totally can! If you are having them regularly and they start getting closer and stronger...it's labor. If you are before the cut off the dr set and you are still preterm, the general number is more than 4 in an hour. Hope all goes well :)
