Need advice. Sick, cold, viral or bacterial?

What would you do?
I am 22 weeks pregnant and woke up with a VERY hoarse voice and hoarse cough. The cough was pretty bad, made my chest sore. I have been drinking homemade orange juice, had some toast this morning and making soup. I called the nurse advice line amd they advised me to go to ER because I'm having chest 'pain' I do have a slight fever of 100.3 but have not taken any meds (yet) thinking about it though.
But 1) I do not want to go. 2) I don't want to wait 3) I don't want to take my 2 year old 4) I personally don't think it's that bad.
What are your thoughts?

I would take Tylenol (pregnancy safe) and see if the fever goes down. If it does but your cough is still bad you should go in. Lung issues are nothing to mess about with during pregnancy. any reduction in oxygen to you is also bad for baby. I have asthma and had to go on a steroid inhaler around 7 months because I got sick and couldn't breathe. I wouldn't chance it!
