My bf doesn't understand either. He keeps saying ur only 7 weeks n I wanna choke him lol. I'm constantly sick, I'm high risk due to my MS n high blood pressure, I work full time n I'm n school. I have bad headaches I'm n the middle of moving n packing so I'm  at my Gma  house for 2 weeks n that's stressful. I need him to step up to the plate more!

Haha TA283 you just made me crack up! I am right there with you Lupita. My fiancé doesn't think pregnancy is hard at all. He said "it's what women are supposed to do so how hard can it be."

Ask him when's the last time he had the flu for nine months, inflated a basketball in his abdominal region, cried for no reason for months on end, watched his skin stretch to its literal limits, and packed on 30+ pounds.
Then ask when is the last time he had to face the prospect of pushing eight pounds out of his genitals and ripping himself open from balls to anus.

Tell him all of the above ^^^ but also make him read the dad section of what to expect when expecting. Or even have him read your weekly update so he knows what you're experiencing like fatigue and back pain etc

I'm very vocal so I say something along the lines of "how would you like it if your entire world changed I'm talking physically mentally emotionally and everything else in between? to be hungry but you can't keep anything down cuz your vomiting 20 times a day, to be exhausted but you can't even get a comfortable position because your hips and back hurt. our feet get swollen, we can't fit into our clothes, are boobs triple in size ( which hurts by the way) and we live in a constant fear for the life of our unborn child. So take your head out of your *** watch a birthing video, read a damn book and get on board of this baby train" =)

My hubby said same thing to me. I said look God made woman endure pregnancy and childbirth bc men can't handle it period. If it were up to men the human population  would be extinct lol. Growing another person is hard work. It exhausts us, makes us sick, moody, but it's worth it.
