ladies what were the signs?

Ok so apart from the obvious crippling contractions and water breaking has anyone had any other signs that they were going into labor soon. I'm 35 weeks starting to hit the panic stage lol and wanting to know if anyone has any helpful tips or signs to look out for. Thanks

Mine was mucus plug. Not being able to find a good position.  Felt like I needed to poop/push. Water felt like heaven to me lol.. could have stayed in my shower all day if it stayed warm.  Would if had him right there.  Labor hurt but not horrible.  I would rather labor than tooth pain

I knew I was having my son by the end of the wknd.  First sign was when my mucus plug began to fall out on a Wed, and by Sat night the rest of it fell out, sure nuff I went into labor shortly after and my son was born by Sunday afternoon just like I thought!!  He was born at 39 wks.

Ya I had that at 33. Still get it. It's the baby dropping.  I'm 34 now. Braxton hicks is when your abdomen tightens. Contractions are more down and feel like cramps menstrual.  With low back pain.

I'm 33 weeks and I've been nesting and keep getting sharp pains in my vag. Some sharp shooting pains in stomach but not sure if those are contractions. Anyone else experience vag pain and is it common! ?

With my first I had back labor.  I was exhausted and all I wanted to do was sleep it off, it was the worst lower back pain with menstrual cramps I didn't know what was going on my doctors office kept asking how far apart my contractions were but I wasn't having contractions.  So I went about my day and my water broke later that night!

I did the whole nesting thing.  Staying up til 1 am cleaning the whole house and organizing thw nursery even though i had to Work in the morning. Had my little girl 2 days later.  Fyi my contractions in the beginning were not that bad.  I thought they were braxtion hicks until they were 3-4 mins apart and i went to my regular scheduled ob appointment and i was 4 cms dialated. My water also didnt break! Good luck to you!
