Blood Pressure Advise

Mine is ALWAYS low like 100/60. Last week its been climbing and Ive had head aches, dizzyness and spotty vision. I go to GP and get a reading of 137/89 (high for me) and he says it is perfectly fine... no matter what no one thinks the change is of concern even though I normally have such low pressure.

I don't want to keep going to GP and Hosp and looking stupid but something says thats not right.

I'm about the same as you. My average bp is 88-90/55-56. Mine is really low for the average even when pregnant. However I'm now 37 weeks and its gone up tremendously. Not as high as yours but still rather high for me. My Dr knows I usually have low bp so she's monitoring it. However she did say the further u get in your pregnancy the more blood ur body is pumping which can increase it bp

How far along are you ? It is normal for blood pressure to rise in pregnancy the further all no you get the more blood that is being pumped and headaches are also rather normal due to all the extra hormones

Its still not classed as high until it hits 140/90 or so I've bn told. But if your are experiencing headaches and problems with your vision just keeping going back to your Dr, incase something isnt quite right. Don't wana scare ya, but if you're not feeling at yourself then you are just right to be going to the Dr. Has anything been happening in your life that may be stressing you?
