laying on stomach

So I'm 31 wks today and Ive been having braxton hicks and all I wanna do is just lay down. My mom keeps telling me to lay on my side and I know its the position but it really just hurts my back more and I can't lay on my back bc I get a really sharp pain in my right leg. Laying on my stomach is the most comfortable to me. But my mom keeps saying I'm gonna squish my baby and shes not gonna be able to breathe but I really don't have a preggo belly and I carry her mostly in my back so is it OK to lay on my stomach?

You should talk to your dr about this. When I asked my dr she said that its ok to lay anyway that I am comfortable because your body will let you know if there is something wrong and you need to change position. The best advice I can give you is to try to use lots of pillows to prop yourself up or out between your legs. Sometimes I put a pillow under one side of my back and that helps me sleep on my back without pain. But talk with your dr.
