mucus plug!!

So this morning i noticed i lost my mucus plug which wasnt a good sight. This is my first pregnancy and im actually due on Wednesday. What should i expect to happen next? Will i go into labor soon?

You can lose your mucus plug weeks before you go into labor, but what you should really be looking out for is your "bloody show" as my doctor called it. It looks similar to a mucus plug but should have pink tinge to it or a small amount of blood in it.

I lost mine thuraday morning and haven't felt any dofferent so far. Im due next week

I didnt even noticed when i lost mine the first pregnancy! I guess i need to be more observant this time!

I'm 38 weeks and I have yet to lose my plug I guess she don't want to come out and she wants to be breech...

From my experience with my first I was loosing my mucus plug over a two week period but the day I lost the rest nor my plug with a brown and pink color I went into labor the same day one week early but I was also having contractions so it is possible for you to start labor today or in the next couple days congrats mommy and good luck

@Lurooney thanks for the response. I have an appointment on Thursday i will def mention it to my doctor. I hope it doesnt mean im close to labor, i still have 6/7 weeks till my due date (33+1) im a ftm and so far so good, but little one has def dropped...hope she gives me a little more time.

Due tomorrow... Lost mine almost 2 weeks ago. Dilated to 2cm and 100% effaced... Still nothing! So ready to meet this baby girl!

I just lost at least some of mine today 3 cm dilated..feeling so done. I don't see going another 4 weeks..

Emmittsmommom. Really? I hope i go into labor soon...my friend went into labor a day before she lost her mucus plug and that was her first baby. But hey every female body is diff

From wha i heared it can be pinkish or mucus looking with blood in it

How can you tell you lost your mucus plug? Is it painful? Excessive? I thought i might have lost mine a week ago, it looked like my vagina sneezed on itself and i have an increase in discharge since, but i brushed it off...how did you ladies know what it was?

Ive also been leaking my mucus plug for two weeks followed by contractions and  now it finally just all came out! And its still coming out. I was hoping labor is near im so anxious to give birth already lol but Thanks ladies!

It doesnt mean you will go into labor,most women lose their mucus plug a few weeks before they are due

With my first, I lost it 2 weeks before it went into labor.
