How did you tell your man that you are pregnant? What was his reaction?

My fiance and I were trying to get pregnant. So in march when I didn't get my period we bought a pregnancy test n it came out positive. Then couple days later we went to planned parenthood and took another pregnancy test and it was positive. We were both very happy
Well my story starts at the hospital.... I had this lump near my belly button that was very painful so I got up 4am and asked my husband to take me to the hospital. When therefore asked me if I was pregnant I told her there was no way.....cause I always stayed away from my husband around ovulation time(I did it for 5 years) she let me know that it was protocol for me to take a pregnancy test. my husband was in the waiting room.... so I was all alone when the doctor came in and said you're pregnant.... I kept telling her I think you have the wrong person.... But I got to see baby's heartbeat and I was 5 weeks.... my husband was so happy..... It was one day after his birthday... it was the best birthday gift I gave him!

With my first it was around Christmas time n my sister-in-law bought me a pregnancy test from the 99 cent store so i took it n it came out positive so i told him n he said my life is ruind but in a joking kind of way then with my second one i took a pregnancy test while he was at a friends house on ner years day n it came back positive then i called him cuz i couldn't go back to sleep untill he knew then he told me r u serious n i did yup. With this one i took the test while he was at work then sent him a pic of it then he told me not again!
I missed a period and he told me I was pregnant. I was in denial until the next month period missed again. Now he says do you think your pregnant now? I had to pee on a stick to confirm. Then the next month we went to the doctor and both test were positive. He knew I was pregnant before I did. Now he feels the pregnancy symptoms I was feeling, cramps in his stomach and light headed and cravings. It's funny
I had gone to the doctor for a physical and he said my breasts felt extra full. I was like well I'm due for my period. The day before my period was due I figured what the hell and took a test as soon as I got up. I wasn't expecting anything because I had taken so many tests before that were negative. Sure enough it was positive. I shook a little bit, cried a little, and then headed to the bedroom. Got back in bed, woke hubby up. All I could do was smile. He kept asking me what I smiling about. I finally got out that I was pregnant. It took him a minute to wake up fully, but he was so happy. This will be our first.
I was so convinced I wasn't pregnant. After doing a test and getting a negative result the month before. My hubby had just got home from work and I told him I wanted to wait to the test cause it'll prolly be a negative result. He convinced me to do one so I did and atm we both found out I was pregnant. Two lines appeared on this cheap 1 dollar pregnancy test, then I did 2 more. I was so happy.
Mine is little bit sad. We were trying for months and wasn't working out. October 2012, I felt different and I realized that I was Kate 4 days. So I took the test but not really excited because I had basically given up on being pregnant. Turned out positive as I was thrilled. I drew on a poster saying congrats you're going to be a daddy while he was at work. Left it on the bed, waited for him to walk in and I recorded him read it and ask really like 4 times. We hugged and were happy. Unfortunately November, I started bleeding with cramps and miscarried. We went through hell and back but made us stronger as a couple. We went straight to trying again and I'm pretty sure as a birthday gift on January I'm got a miracle again lol. I felt different again in February so I took the test, positive. But this time I was terrified. So I sent him a picture n told me to go check at the clinic to confirm. Since we miscarried the first pregnancy, we were scared go show excitement the second time. But as time passed god has been with us and were so excited to only have 4 weeks to meet our little boy! !!!!
My hubby knew before I told him but here's our story...I had several positive hpt in june only to find out I was having a miscarriage we were devastated that would've been his first and my third I have two from a previous relationship. When we took our family vacation at the end of August I couldn't even drink a glass of wine ,, after we got home out the blue he said you re pregnant I was confused so I purchased a test it came back positive he said ill look at it but I already know. .. Im a little over 6 weeks and we're excited! !!!!
I cried and threw the pregnancy test at him and he laughed and said baby I don't know how to read this thing
When i found out i text my hubby and told him guess what and he text me back saying now what happend and i send him a picture of the pregnancy test and told him look what i just found out and he text me back saing really awww he so happy to be a father again
My bf and I had been together just about two months. His baby girl was due in just over a month with his ex. I bought some gender neutral clothes put them in a gift bag and put the test in the bottom. I waited for the doctor appointment to confirm I was pregnant. I gave it to him he looked at the clothes said thanks, and I told him to look farther. He was stunned! He thought I had just had a period because I thought that was what was going on. He was very nervous. Two babies in such a short time but he is thrilled to be here with experiencing it!

My mom helped me make a card and we bought its a boy/ its a girl candy, put one of each in the card and i gave it to him. I wanted to wait till fathers day but felt bad since it wasnt planned. I gave himmt he card and he was instantly nervous and scared. He even went back outside to get sick thats how scared he got but i thought it was kinda cute. NOw we are 20 1/2 wks w our little boy!!!
We weren't tryin at all. But also not using protection. One weekend we took a trip to ATL for a little R & R (rest n relaxation) had some meioses did a little shopping the usual. Made a wrong turn got pulled over he gets arrested I freak out. Judge throws out the case. 2 weeks later it's his birthday I take the test while he's at work, got those lovely 2 lines. Wrapped the test in tissue paper and put it in a gift bag. That night had dinner with the family gave him the bag and the card says happy birthday daddy... He still has the test!

awww these stories are the cutest!mines total opposite..I fainted at work one day ended up on the hospital because I have severe anemia.. they asked for an extra cuz the said my heart rate wasn't normal.the nurse asked if there's any chance I was pregnant I said no I'm on birthth control she said she would check anyway she came back smiling and said ur pregnant and according to the amount of hcg in your blood u r about 14 weeks.I was shocked I called my bf crying his respond was can u abort it today he left me at an abortion clinic and I haven't seen him since..He said he's not ready to be a dad
With my first, I was a few days late and had an idea I was pregnant but I waited as it was coming up to Christmas. I took a test Christmas morning while my hubby was brewing up. It was positive so I stuck a little bow on it and a label saying 'merry Christmas, daddy' and gave it to him when he'd opened all his presents. He was so excited and said it was the best present ever.

We were trying. I took the test the morning I was scheduled to start my period. It was negative. That evening, something told me to do another one. It was positive! I had my 2 year old daughter take the test to my husband...who (after figuring out why my 2 yo had a pregnancy test) started running around the house trying to find me. :)
I had taken one test and the lines were faint and I kept putting off taking the other one and he kept telling me I needed to. So, he went to work that morning and I took the test after I sent my oldest to school. Felt like I waited forever lol Went back into the bathroom and saw the telltale lines. I took a pic of it and sent it to him and said 'well, there's no doubting this one, huh?lol' Totally not an interesting story but, we aren't theatrical and figured I might b anyways. It was cool to confirm it tho....especially after the bad month I had had prior due to a close relative's sudden death.

I took a test at my work and I waited until my husband came home from work to tell him. After I found out I called him and said I bought him a gift and was excited for him to see it when he got home. When he got home I said happy 8 years of being together and handed him the test and said surprise your going to be a daddy. His response was are you sure there are two lines he kept looking at it in shock but was very excited.
My man & I had been trying & trying. I took about 10 tests within 4 months & finally gave up. I got high one day & got so sick which was unnormal. So we went to buy another test. I peed & right away didn't see a line so I threw the test in the sink n finished peeing. He picked it up & was like you are pregnant. My story is boring too, lol.
We were trying for 5 years, so when I was late he bought the test, I took it, and when there were two pink lines I started crying and called him in to make sure I was seeing correctly. He got way excited and made me take the other tests too just to be sure lol. I don't think we've ever hugged each other that hard <3
