sex question for already moms! Please!
Has anyone had sex after week 38 and it bring on tons of cramping/lower back pain and diahrea? Then afterwards feel great with no labor in sight?

Well my husband and I had sex around 630. I had bad cramps & back pain from around 7-11. It slowly went away to a mild pain. I had diahrea last night and again twice this morning. And have this burst of energy to clean. I'm 39 weeks and 4 days. So now I'm unsure if I'm close or if it was the sex. Ice also been gassy the past few days too.
Orgasm can lead to contractions but they usually go away after a while until your body is ready. Sperm can help to soften the cervix so if you are trying to progress have at him haha... it can only help unless the after pain is too much...you could try a heating pad after? The diarrhea is also brought on by the contraction of at least associated with it. Your body tries to empty your bowels before labour so that you have a clean delivery when pushing...
Honestly no sex has always led to labour for me..sounds like you could be very near though good luck xx
