Catheters for natural delivery?
I understand if you have an epidural why you would need one but if you have a drug free birth do you have to have a catheter?
New practice in the hospital around where I live is even with the epidural they don't cath you. They will periodically use one to empty your bladder but won't leave them in any more to lower the risk of uti after delivery
