bloodthinners....help!
My ob has perscribed Lovenox shots (blood thinner) as a preventative measure because i had a blot clot 3 years ago. I am not really comfortable with it but i am being told it is necessary. Has anyone else had to do this? Any side effects?
Dont know yet. but I know in about 2 weeks they are supposed to be changing thw meds to heparin.

I am on them. this is my first pregnancy. I am 28wks abd everything is going good. I do the shot everyday before bed.
Just watch for abnormal bleeding Like bruising a lot or bloody nose and report to doctor. Its more important to prevent a blood clot because it can be so dangerous.
