mayonaise.... how safe?

I'm really struggling to find anything that I want to eat but last few days I've being craving salad sandwich with mayonnaise. I know homemade is a big no no, but is shop bought mayo made with pasteurized eggs safe to eat?

Lyndsey, what they mean about eggs is that raw eggs "can" have a bacteria that is potentially harmful for our growing fetus. But eat well cooked eggs is just fine. I personally live eating them as well

I'm 27 weeks in my 3rd pregnancy. I've eaten eggs and mayo probably every day this pregnancy. Eggs for breakfast sandwich for lunch... egg salad sometimes. I've never heard of that. Lol
