My mucus plug came out yesterday at exactly 36 weeks! I'm getting more excited on giving birth. Im a ftm and I don't know the gender of my baby.

So what's next...water bag breaking? ?

I lost my plug and went right into labor with my daughter but I was overdu.  With my  son I lost it slowly over a week and it was still a week before I went into labor with him!

I also lost my plug around 3 weeks before I delivered. Water broke the morning I delivered, 17 hours later my son was born! Good luck!

I lost my plug at 36 weeks and I'm in labor now at almost 39 weeks. So it could b the same scenerio for you. My water broke during labor. Good luck!

Well to be honest, losing your plug doesn't really mean anything, Im sorry to say. It can be lost hours, days or weeks before labour and can regenerate itself. What's next is depending on how you go into labour. Some people have their waters breaking before labour starts, them the contractions, others have their waters breaking once they're in labour x
