menstral like cramps

Since about 4pm today I have been getting menstral like cramps and lower back pain. The pain travels down to my thighs.  Im 28-6  weeks pregnant.  It's a constant pain but at point it does get worser. I been drinking more water to see if it goes away, I have been putting my feet up n laying on my left side but the pain dosent seem to go away. I dont know if it ligament pains or what but it really hurts, I would say the pain is about a 6 or 7 out of 10. I hate bothering my doctor on a holiday weekend when I have a doctors appointment for Tuesday. Anyone have any other suggestions on what I could do to relief pain. Thank you! ..

Try doing some prenatal yoga, or prenatal stretches. You can look em.up online. It helped me a bit with ligament issues. I am personally horrible about pills and hate taking them. So try using regular Tylenol and take the T3 only for the worst pain. My allergy meds are on the safe list but I just deal with them for a couple days so I am not taking meds too often. I'm a bit odd, I admit....but it keeps my mind at ease.

Thanks for the advised. I called my doctor n he said that most likely is ligament pain. He said he would call my pharmacy to order tylenol 3. He said it safe to take.  I have never been a fan of pain meds so im not sure about that.  I have notice the pain is calming down a bit. Hopefully i can just sleep it off and by tomarrow I wont have to resort to the pain medication.

The lower back pain that runs down your legs sounds to me like babies rolled onto your sciatic nerve. In combination with the cramps tho I would say go get checked out, better safe then sorry! I've lost 3 so I always let my paranoia win out

Can you call in to talk to the nurses at your L&D?? It's something i would want some medical input on, not just from the forum. Specially since you areonly 28 weeks.
