I've experienced them for 19+ years (started at age 11- almost 31 now). I've tried everything. Nothing seems to help prevent them (not even preventative meds), and imitrex injections are the only thing that helped prior to each pregnancy. During each pregnancy I have also been prescribed fiorocet. This is my 3rd, and this time around it hasn't helped at all. Short of going in for IV meds, nothing works. And the IV meds make me sick as a dog. My OB said several weeks ago that at that point there wasn't anything they could do and I was going to be stuck dealing with it unfortunately. They were very kind about it at least. So, that's that. Been dealing with one currently since yesterday with no relief from meds once again. Hopefully you don't end up in the same boat and yours subside soon. :/ Good luck hon!

I've been getting them for 10 years and was on preventative meds before I got pregnant. I go to healing touch/reflexology for my migraines makes a huge difference and helps keep them at bay too. I had really bad migraines with my first pregnancy too.

I have suffered from migraines for over ten years and before trying to conceive I was taking two prevention medications and also received botox injections to treat them. I now can only take fioricet when needed. One other thing that has been my saving grace is taking  daily magnesium supplement. Its safe and has made a difference in the severity and how often I have migraines. Good luck I hope this info helps.
