We had everything, but the hospital still gives a care package.  The hospital gave a few gift bags full of samples, diapers, wipes, small diaper bag with formula samples, knitted hat, pads (the huge kind), and a receiving blanket. they also have a small bag of ointments and alcohol pads.

It really depends on the hospital and nursing staff. And if management is around. So treat your nurses nicely and you might make out like a bandit.

Omg your so lucky in london you get nothing you have to bring it all yourself and if you forget something you either get a family member to bring in or give money to a nurse n they go to the hospital shop for u whuch is double the price of your normal supermarket xx

Would be nice if they would tell you ahead of time what to expect.
We were in the nicu for a week so they provided some baby wash, lotion, diapers and wipes, rash cream, pacifiers. Although we didn't use any of that except for the diapers, we brought our own skincare and preferred pacifiers. I wouldn't count on them providing anything but diapers though

The rest of the pack of diapers and wipes we were using while there, a nose sucker bulb, measuring tape, halo asleep sack. I think that was all.

I was given a couple packs of diapers, wipes, lanolin cream, etc.. plus the hospital I birthed at send home gift bags with a ton of samples, coupons, and books. I was given a couple things of formula, which I sent to the next room, to the woman I had met walking the halls. She was planning to formula feed and I was exclusively breast feeding.
