Yeah, we had everthying as well. The nurses loved my husband and I. So we made out:)
I live in Michigan and I got diapers wipes hats blue bulb thing a diaper bag full of goodies for baby and formula I think thats it
We had everything, but the hospital still gives a care package. The hospital gave a few gift bags full of samples, diapers, wipes, small diaper bag with formula samples, knitted hat, pads (the huge kind), and a receiving blanket. they also have a small bag of ointments and alcohol pads.
Mommas should have everything for baby.
It really depends on the hospital and nursing staff. And if management is around. So treat your nurses nicely and you might make out like a bandit.
Omg your so lucky in london you get nothing you have to bring it all yourself and if you forget something you either get a family member to bring in or give money to a nurse n they go to the hospital shop for u whuch is double the price of your normal supermarket xx
After I had my daughter, I got a 34 ct. Of pampers diapers, wipes, a bag of lanolin, tyenol and ibuprofen (for pain I mever needed) a pack of pads, blankets, 2 knitted hats, a tube of vaseline, a thermometer amd something else (cant remember)
In the UK and i have to provide it all for myself!
In uk we dont get anything!
Here in Florida they gave us whole diaper bags diapers a whole can of powder formula wipes 3 receiving blankets 2 hats socks and if u lucked out a brand new car seat... Needless to say go to a government hospital
My hospital doesn't provide anything but I'm in Australia.
Would be nice if they would tell you ahead of time what to expect.
We were in the nicu for a week so they provided some baby wash, lotion, diapers and wipes, rash cream, pacifiers. Although we didn't use any of that except for the diapers, we brought our own skincare and preferred pacifiers. I wouldn't count on them providing anything but diapers though
The rest of the pack of diapers and wipes we were using while there, a nose sucker bulb, measuring tape, halo asleep sack. I think that was all.
I was given a couple packs of diapers, wipes, lanolin cream, etc.. plus the hospital I birthed at send home gift bags with a ton of samples, coupons, and books. I was given a couple things of formula, which I sent to the next room, to the woman I had met walking the halls. She was planning to formula feed and I was exclusively breast feeding.
With my first he was in the NICU so they gave me everything in his container like a thermometer, diapers,no wipes,a pacifier, but cream, and alcohol wipes for his umbilical cord with my second bb he didn't go to the NICU n all they gave me was a pacifier n it was at the same hospital n some state i live in las Vegas nv.
Yes hopefully.. lol some places are better than others.. but there were also about 12 other women that just had babies at the time.. so maybe they were just making sure they enough
I hope they give more here in Arkansas
Enough formula for 2 days half a pack of diapers.. (the ones we were already using) and no wipes. Needless to say they were pretty stingy lol. I live in Mississippi
