morning sickness hell

This is my first baby and I'm 12 weeks I've been having horrible morning sickness I throw up anywhere between 5-8 times a day. I throw up yellow stomach fluid every morning. I've tried the pills, ginger, everything and nothing works for me. Normally how long does the morning sickness stage last?

Mine lasted from week 7-13 I couldn't take it anymore at wk 11 and my doctor prescibed digelsis and it helped!!! :( although the morning sickness nausea and vomiting went away at wk 13 I still wasnt able to eat a full meal at night until week 20 because of indigestion and acid reflux at week 21+5mI'm feeling great and appetite has picked I can finally enjoy a full meal at dinnertime...it gets better mama just hang in there!

As difficult as it may be try to at least hold down some liquids. When you're dehydrated the nausea worsens. I was hospitalized for 4 days with severe dehydration and it was hell! Nil per mouth for the first 3 days and arms full of painful bruises from all the IV drips. Water, weak tea, diluted fruit juice or Powerade - anything!

With my son it didn't really stop. Eased alot after 3months but still continued to be sick but with my daughter is eased from about 15/16wks. I'd maybe go back to your doctor to try something else. Its no fun being sick all the time. Hope you feel better soon :-)
