mucus plug lost at 40 weeks

Lost a bit of mucus plug last night and more today with a little blood. Contractions are stronger than usual and still irregular. Should i go to the er just to check? Tuesday i was 2.5 cm dilated and my doc wants to induce sunday. Idk what to do =/

. Hospitals usually keep u at 4 cm or if your water breaks.

Sounds like the beginning of labour. I'd hold off a bit longer. I think you'll be having a baby by tomorrow morning!!

If they aren't consistent (3-5 min apart) they might end up sending you home.

I think i may go in. The pain is not unbearable just contractions and the pressure stops me in my tracks. Im so ready to have this little boy! Lol

I'm kinda in the same boat as you. Ftm and I'm 39weeks today. Had a Doc appt wed and I am only 1cm dilated. Been having irregular contractions and I think a little bit of my mucus plug came out yesterday. Don't know when I should go to the hospital. Guess I'm just going to wait till my contractions are closer together and the pain is unbearable. If your worried or in too much pain you can always go to the hospital. The worst thing that will happen is they will send you back home but at least you'll have some peace of mind : )
