growth scan?

Ok today she did strep b test measured me and checked cervix. Finally my cervix is dilated 2cm but hasn't started thinning yet. But for the 1st time she says I'm measuring small and scheduled me for a growth scan. I'm confused how I've been measuring just fine and all of a sudden I'm measuring small at 35 weeks. To me he feels bigger than my 2 girls did. He is head down and engaged but I can still feel him in my ribs. I've never had a growth scan before. Idk it don't make sense one week measuring good and a week later small. Anyone else have this happen?

Wow Yeah I would be kinda mad about that. Mine is very informational to the point of scary but what I have could kill us both so she stresses everything with me. But if ur not having any problems I wouldn't worry about it and be glad she is doing a scan to make sure all is well because some Dr's wouldn't take the time.

I just hate when they get all vague with answers and make you wonder if there is a problem. I asked if it could just be because ofhow he is llaying and she said it's a possibility.

I'm having Gestational hypertension problems and had one done a couple weeks ago and another next week. If he's not getting the nutrients he needs his growth will slow. Ur really close to full term I wouldn't worry too much.
