mucus plus

Could you lose your mucus plug at 27 weeks? If so what happens next?

Yesterday I had what people call raw egg white mucus leakage I think it's part of my plug I called ny doctor & left a message still waiting for a reply. Im 28 weeks

I started losing mine at 33 weeks and over the last few weeks it has kept coming out in gelatinous pieces.   My midwife says the cervix produces A LOT of mucus and it's totally normal.   As long as it's not blood tinged or has brown streaks in it you should be okay.

Okay I think I lost mine in pieces a would wipe and a sorta thick yellow would be their and on my under wears also. And I don't remember it happening with my first.

I agree with baby_love. I lost mine at 34 weeks and didn't go had to be induced after my due date. Everyone is different though.

Yes you can..you can keep losing bits and pieces of it throughout your pregnancy. If you lose it early,  it can replenish itself. Some lose it and go into Labour hours later...others lose it and go past their due date.
