what to expect

I go meet with another doctor the beginning of January for him to give me a percentage on a successful vbac.  Has anybody had the meeting before? What does he do to give you your results? Does he exam you or just ask questions and look at her c section history? I am not sure what to expect.

I had a c section due to "failure to progress" which was due to size of baby. He came out 9lbs 5oz. I am really nervous about a repeat c section

It had questions like height,  weight, age, reason for previous c section. Just general things like that and it calculates your rate.

I haven't had my baby yet. I'm 26 weeks. My last c section was due to my baby being too big to fit through the birth canal. So far this baby is measuring about a week ahead so if she keeps measuring that way, I will be having a scheduled c section. If she is not measuring too big I would like to try vbac but I will be prepared to go to c section just in case. The higher the %, the better chance of vbac. My doctor is ok with me trying vbac if I want to but with only 42% chance of success, I'm prepared to have a second c section.

Oh ok the doctor office i go to is a teaching office and i have to actually see the doctor who would perform the c section. For him to let me know my success % .. have you had your baby? Are you trying vbac? What is a good percentage?

My normal doctor just had a survey thing that he put all my information to and it told me a % of success. Personally my rate of success was 42% chance of successful vbac.
