I hope my daughter doesn't get jealous when the new baby comes around. She's 1 and she's so use to getting all the attention, she cry and wants me to give her all the attention when my nieces come around. I can't even pick up my nieces in front of her without her trying to get my to put her down and pick her up instead.

My daughter is 3 but she is the same always cuddly etc but we have gotten her involved picking baby things and yesterday she helped daddy put the swinging cradle up

Give her a present when the baby is born. I gave mydaughter a baby doll and my kids were 12 months apart. Also make a huge deal of her helping. What a great helper she is. No its not helpful but makes her feel involved aand special. Anything she does that could be seen as positive praise it. DDon't get annoyed when she's upset ask for help. I did this and there now 7 and 8 best friends and my daughter still wants to help all the time.
