Yellowish discharge can be completely normal. Unless it's accompanied by ichiness, pain or a foul smell then it is absolutely nothing to worry about. Every pregnancy is different so just because you didnt have it with your other pregnancies doesn't mean it isnt normal for this one. Ive had yellowish discharge since I found out I was pregnant. Its only a small amount and my doctor has reassured me it's completely normal for some people.
He should check you out anyways... call and get an appt for today... you need to let him know that you are his patient and he needs to treat you with respect and dignity and answer your questions.
I've always had a female on my precious pregnancies, but since this time was twins I had no choice to pick between my midwife n my doctor :/ my doctor is just not doing his job I though that's what it was but now that I realized that he ain't doing much or saying much might b a Lil late to switch doctor..but if it's my mucus plug that means I should prepare for labor soon?
Lupita. ..if your 35 weeks 4 days with twins than it is likely your mucus plug... women carrying twins are considered full term at 36 weeks... and it may, unfortunately, be too late to switch doctor's.... but yours does not sound very helpful at all... you need to force him to be more proactive in your pregnancy... this is why I'd never go to a male doctor
So it might b my mucus plug? So many "it could b"... Confuses me...
I'm 30 weeks and have yellow discharge. My doctortested and the results were normal. She said iit's the mucous plug coming out...
Yes, thanks ladies it's a Lil confusing hearing infection n not An infection..I think I'm gonna have to call in n speak with a nurse n c what they tell me...this hole pregnancy my doctor had only checked heart beats n measure the belly nothing more than. That :/ ........ Do you no how you do the pre test every visits would they b able to tell me there n than if I have a infection?
Sometimes pregnancy can create more yeast in ourbodies. Maybe this is what is happening and it may not be an ininfection yet but could turn into one. I would get some yeast assassin from a very awesome company @www.***********.com look for their pregnancy pack. I use a lot of their products and love them. Hope you find a better doctor that wont be so unattending.
With my first two babies I had a yellowish discharge around your time pf pregnancy too. It was my mucus plug slowly coming out. I wouldn't be to worried about it unless its followed by other alarming signs. Pretty sure you can feel signs of infection. Good luck! Hope this helped!

I would go to the er & have them look at it they'll give u a quick exam & some prescriptions for it. Yellow is infection.
Sorry didn't explain my self to good, I'm 35weeks n 4 days pregnant with twin boys.n I don't think my discharge has a bad smell to it which I should check just to make sure! But my doctor never checks me all I go in is for him asking me if I have any questions. :/
Yes, I would get a 2nd opinion! Take a trip to labor and delivery at the er and explain that ur have a convern the team there should be able to help. Have u googled this question too? I don't think yellow discharge is ok.
I'm all for changing doctors if you cant even ask them a question!
Yellow normally means infections..Go get it checked out!!
I've had a yellowish discharge since the beginning of my pregnancy. My Dr has checked everything and I have no infections or anything. He said that some woman just produce it. But he did say that if it develops a fowl oder then it's most likely an infection.
Yellow discharge is a sign of infection. Go get checked or see a doctor.
