my little cookie had arrived

He is the most precious baby I've ever seen in my life. He was born on the 7th at 1:45 am HD weighs 7.05 pounds and 20 inches long. His name is Kevin.
My labor story
I had been losing mucus plug with some blood for days. I darted having irregular contractions at night for 3 regular nights. On the 6th my contractions lasted during the day too they were 6 mins apart.  I went to the ER but got sent home 5 hrs later since I was still 1 cm dialated.  After the iv, my contractions were 6-8mins apart.  On the 7th I walked quite a bit, did some yoga, had been having contractions the whole fay. They were 7 mins apart then came to 6 and by 8pm, man they were 4 mins apart and so bad. I was shaking. Shivering,  had chills, fever.  Oh and reached hospital 2 cm dialated but contractions were 2-4mins apart. By 12 I was 5 cm dialated.  I asked for the epidural, the aesthetist was on call. It was very painful to even wait for an extra minute. The doctor came in  and checked me around 1 and I was 9cm. They told me I couldn't get the epidural as it's too late now. I was so angry in so much pain and went to the delivery room and I was 10.  They broke my water and baby came at 1 45 am. Once  I saw him I forgot all of the labor pain. I had a 4 degree tear so still recovering from it. Got haemorroid. Can't sit up or fown. Its tough but I am so glad it all went so well. And to all the moms, we can do it. Our body is build up for it. I couldn't even handle the menstrual cramps but I did have a natural delivery..   all the best to you and your Lil one
