cerclage removal

Have any of you ladies had a cerclage (stitch) removed before? If so...did you go into labor right away? Later that day? Weeks later? Please let me know. I'm having mine removed on the 9th of DEC.

I have a cerclage that is to be removed on the 4th of dec. I was told it will be about a week before I go into labor. With my last pregnancy my water broke at 33 weeks and they removed it then but I stayed pregnant until 35 weeks. I was closely monitored to make sure I wasn't getting an infection.

I have 2 stitches as well. I guess I'll have to wait and see. My stitches are coming out on the 9th of Dec. I held off until 37 weeks, just incase she comes early.

I currently have two stitches. I have asked and those who had it said they went full term. Am hoping as soon as mine is removed I go into labor. My friend had it removed at 36 weeks she had baby 40 wks and 3 days.
