natural birth vrs. epi.

I had a hard delivery with my first, she got stuck, I pushed for 3 hrs, had to use a vacuum.  Talking to my dr a few weeks back (I hope to avoid such a hard labor) she said I got my epi too early. So the baby didn't drop like she should have. I'm looking for a more natural route this time, due in aug. I'm not ruling out pain meds all together,  just looking into other options.  Any book, website,  advice is welcome.  I have read some about a walking epi. If anyone has experienced with that, or natural births, or those who have had epis with one child, and natural with anyone other I would love anything you can share with me.

Here in uk we have gas and air.. dont know if its called laughing gas in the states. Its is very common for women in labour to use this method of pain relief here. Ive had an epidural with my first, ended up having to have a c-section. I didnt like that and wanted to go as natural as possible with second labour so I got the gas and air. Thankfully i had a good experience second time around and im definitely going to use gas and air for my third and im hoping the next time will b as easy as second!

I've only had of one state here that does the gas. Unfortunately it want mine. I keep forgetting to ask my ob about it though, just in case.

But sb530, I've looked into the Bradley method birthing classes and it is a partner led birthing style. From what i understand the partner acts as a doula. It looks awesome and I really wish I had time to take the classes. Had a hard time convincing hubby to take any class since this is good second kid. (Finally successful!)
