Dads at Dr. Appointments

My husband is going to go with me next week to my appointment, I will be 13 weeks. I have two questions: I have been with my Austin for seven years but  am I the only one who is not looking forward to him knowing what I weigh? Also, since I have had ultrasounds at my last two appointments will I get another one this time so that he can see/hear all the exciting stuff?

Tell him you don't want him to know how much you weigh and to wait till the vitals are taken.mine are done in a separate room so my husband can wait outside but honestly, will he really care how much you weigh? He has and will see you at the most embarrassing moments of your life.

Ultrasounds depend on your doc and your insurance. Depending on your history you may not get another one until the anatomy scan around 20 weeks. Again depending your doc and insurance.

My doctor requires weight at every appointment.  Just my opinion, but after 7 years, he probably already has a good idea of what you weight anyways.

Just tell the doctor you'd not like to be weighed. I was never weighed this whole pregnancy, it's not something that has to be done. And I'm sure your husband doesn't care how much you weigh anyways :-)
