Cracking/Popping Sound?

...So I'm currently 35wks & 6dys today and im expecting my first child, a lil girl...but ive also been hearing, especially when she moves, a popping sound, now could it be from her own bones or is it coming from my body...?? Anyone else hearing a cracking sound when baby moves?

I questioned my doctor about popping noises around 18 weeks, he said its from the baby moving around and putting pressure on different parts of my spine. Its the spine that pops, and then the sound reverberates through the amniotic fluid making it sound louder and like its coming from the baby.
I'm not sure how much of that I believe, but that's what he said.

I don't hear the popping sound but I feel them. Been feeling popping in my vaginal area but I think it's the baby pushing his way down & getting himself ready for delivery, since today marks my 38th week. :) I'm just anxious & counting the days until my body can somewhat go back to normal & I can hold my son in my arms.

I have the same at 37+4 and have read its the baby popping air bubbles inside uterus or the baby moving against your body/ bones. Not sure really but doc says its nothing to worry about

All mine have done this if it same thing your talking about. Sounds like your knee is popping except it comes from your tummy when baby's moving.

I had this with my son from about 28 weeks and im now 30 weeks pregnant with my little girl and have been starting to hear it again. Alot of doctors dont actually know what causes it. And alot of them thi k you're crazy too! Ha. But it's nothing to be worried about. A midwife did actually suggest it was actually your intestines. Another said it was bubs bones. Its of no concern.

I have never heard of that. VERY unlikely it's the babies as her bones are verrry soft at this point. I'd call your OB and ask...
