Avoid the brat dietas they cause more constipation. Bananas, rice, applesauce and toast do not help with constipation, only for nausea and vomitting.

High fiber foods. There are also massage techniques that can help with BMs. I have been lucky with all three pregnancies to not have any morning sickness etc. Good luck and feel better.

I understand that zofran is the root cause but you should avoid bananas, apples, rice,  and toast.  According to my dr those are foods they recommend to help stop diarrhea.  :( good luck.

Did acupuncture wks 5-8.  It did help but was expensive.  Was on zofran from weeks 8-18. Had to take it or vomited all day long/could not keep water down. Illness worse this time--2nd preg.  Cannot go through it again.  Besides fluids, fiber, prune juice, etc, Try taking half a pill and see if your BM improve.  I was able to get through wks 16-18 on 1/2 and sometimes 1/4 pill.  Now in wk 19 and thankfully only vomit 2-3 times a week but never more than once day.  People who've never coped with this don't understand debilitating effect!  Good luck.

I was the same way on zofran and it also didnt really work that great for me. But last week my dr gave me something different and its a class A drug for pregnancy so its safe. Called Diclegis. You take two before bed every night. Its basically unisom and vitamin b6 combined. Its helps with sleep too. Instead of getting up 3 times a night im up only once and im not sleepy the next day which is great considering i work full time. I would ask your doc about it. Mine gave me a sample bottle and i  couldnt function without it. Good luck.

Sorry I can't get off the zofran I have a 10 month old and watch my 19 month old niece..can't stay in bed or puke all day. Going to ask for something different when I go in next week. Going to try the smooth move tea! Wish me luck tonight. Continuing with stool softners and lots of water and had 2 apples already today!

Try Vitamin B6 every 8 hours and one unisom tablet before bed, it did better than unisom for me, and the constipation wasn't nearly as bad. I also ate cherries And plums to get things moving.my was sick through my 16th week, so I understand needing a remedy, especially when you work. I hope u out feel better soon!

I would have loved for the "nausea" to just have lasted a "few weeks"  with HG it's a completely different story hunny. When your so sick you can't get out of bed throwing up 15 plus times a day and losing more than 20 lbs in about 4 weeks... that more than ***** and requires medical intervention. To each their own. Just because you decided to forgo Zofran cause you were lucky enough to just have a little nausea doesn't mean everyone is that lucky. Obviously the OP and her doctor decided Zofran was the best option for her. She was looking for things to help with a completely different issue not your opinion on something else entirely.

Ask to be switched to promethizine I was on zofran and I hated it. Since the promethizine I haven't had no problems

And for some of us, it lasts a lot longer than a few weeks. I'm 15 weeks and so sick some days I can't function

^^ yes its part of pregnancy but when you work or have other important things to do you can't really afford to be sick/take time off all the time.

Get off zofran. Nausea is part of the process and I know it *****, but it last just a few weeks. Eat crackers, drink white sodas or sparkling water.

Tell your doc. I had the same issues and my doc switched to reglan. I was so relieved when I could go back to the bathroom again. Make sure you are drinking plenty of liquids.

Be careful with Zofran, there's a commercial on the TV advising that it can lead to baby abnormalities. Try natural things, and look on the internet for bowel movement exercises,  they helped me a lot!!!!!
