need reassurance hcg numbers!

I went to the doc today to confirm pregnancy and she did a beta hcg. It came back at 41.5. The nurse who called me sounded concerned but the doctor only wants me to come back if i start bleeding otherwise wait two weeks until my first ultrasound. According to my last period i should be 5 weeks. However, i have really irregular cycles. I took a first response early response last Tuesday and it was stark white negative, Friday ( Halloween) was my first faint positive. So, I'm hoping this just means i ovulated late...? The last time we baby danced was  on the 20th so maybe that's when we conceived? I've heard first response pick up an hcg level of 7.5 and since it was negative Tuesday ( less than a week ago) wouldn't 41.5 be a good number?!

I took a frer 4 days before my expected period, positive (not faint) went to dr next day thier test -bfn so sent for blood...hcg that day was 26
Next week was 9O7  then 5 days later 6k
Ur most likely just early! Those tests are so sensitive! I'm sure ur bean is fine :)

I'm hoping so! The only symptom i have that's concerning me is my uterus feels heavy... hard to explain but almost like a pressure feeling. No bleeding at all and cervix is high and soft. I just want to get the beta cause i feel like I'll be concerned every time i feel anything abnormal. This is my 4th pregnancy so maybe that's why my uterus feels weird lol.

I think I'm going to go in on Wednesday and request a beta. That's too much stress waiting two weeks for my ultrasound!

You're more than likely fine.   You probably ovulated late like you said.   I'm surprised they didn't do a 2nd beta

I would not stress! Which is easier said than done! Put positive thoughts in your head and relax. Your probably super early. I hate those blood test.
