negative hpt, but optimistic

Hi all! :-) I'm new to this, so please, bare with me!

My husband and I are trying for baby #2. I discontinued use of my oral BC and if in the past I have ever forgotten to take my pill for just a day or two, I will get another menstrual cycle.  This time I did not.

From my understanding, ovulation begins 12-17 days after your last period. I am 24 days out, which would make me 3 weeks and a few days pregnant. I'm hoping that the hpt was unable to detect the hormone these home pee tests are "99.9% accurate" in detecting.

I have an appointment with my OB in a few days, so keep your fingers crossed for me that it tells me I've got a bun in the oven!

With some women they only get positives from blood tests not hpt. Good luck!
