Thanks Kb. Im hoping that's the case. My poor husband... I'm a train wreck every day!
I'm on my 4th pregnancy due any day. I've never dilated past 1cm until I've been in active labor(painful regular contractions). So don't fret. Things can change in a heart beat. I'm still 1cm but as usual once the contractions start kicking my butt I dilate very fast. Labor for me lasts less than 6 hours going from 1 to 10cm.
They come when they get ready....I was like that with my 1st...went to the dr completely closed...later that night BAM! He started coming full steam ahead. it will happen sooner than u think and when ur probably least expecting it.
No problem lol it is 5 degrees here...all mines are warm weather babies...I'm due August 6th...but I have to go through the summer being uncomfortable.... I hope ur little one makes their entry in the world soon I know ur anxious
Ahh I know to take walks but its 2 degrees outside!! Next baby is going to be due in June you guys I swear! I hope we can all take comfort in knowing that we all feel the same way. Best wishes to all you mommies. And thanks Regcj that is a really helpful story.
Don't worry I was 39 weeks and my doctor said my son wasn't even ready to come give it another 2 weeks....not dialated or effaced at all went into labor that night...they come when they wanna come...usually when u least expect it...if u wanna speed it up try taking a long walk that's what I did with my 2nd one and he came the next day
I just came on here for the same reason. I was about to post that my mood since my dr. appointment today has been depressed and upset. I was hoping all this discomfort and pain and constant contractions and pinched nerves in my thighs was meaning baby was getting ready and making things happen and I would meet him sooner than later. After my exam....nothing. still completely closed and no changes....
I'm in the same boat sweetie. I'm 40+4 and when I saw doctor on Monday i wasn't dilated at all...baby will come when ready. I know its so frustrating. My anxiety and discomfort levels are through the roof. Hang in there :-)
This is my first pregnancy so I can't even tell you. I just hope your little one comes soon! Good luck, take care, and best wishes!!
