sleeping on back?

When do I have to stop sleeping on my back? It just feels so good... and I have read differing opinions but no why's..

Definitely try using a pillow as a wedge, it's a lifesaver. When I sleep on my back, my right leg will go to sleep.

My dr suggesting slightly wedging up one side if I prefer lying on my back. This stops all the weight going where it shouldn't.

2nd trimester ur meant to stop this but I often wake on my back, due to babies weight it compresses many major blood vessels

I think it's ok till later in your pregnancy. I have with this one and both my other boys, but got to the point my belly was to big and it was uncomftable. They say weight of your uterus presses on the major vein that returns blood from your lower body to your heart when your uterus gets big. Just try switching positions every so often
