I agree I have my last one in a week I'm 22 weeks 3 days but if your dr needs another ultra sound don't be worried! It will probably be nothing!

Usually you are supposed to get 2,12&20 weeks,I am actually having a growth scan to see how big my boy is.I'm having a scheduled csection June 25&it seems like its taking forever. They do have the 3d ultrasound as someone else said but they can be pricey.

NHS its 12 weeks and 20 weeks and that's it unless there is a medical reason to monitor the baby. Was hoping to get an extra one Tuesday when I had to go into hospital for tests - just cos its been forever since my 20 week scan and I want to see him again - but no they checked heart rate which was fun. You can pay private clinics in UK to have extra scans but they're expensive and I just have to be patient! 6 weeks to go and it feels like forever :(

Also depends on what your insurance will allow. You can always pay a little and get the 3-d ultrasound.

I had 2 with my 1st 3 with my second. The 3rd one was at 39+5 cuz I was going to be induced and she wanted to check size first. My sister gets them every 2-3 weeks but she is high risk and seeing a specialist. I agree depends on dr and situation!

I agree, it depends on the doctor. I've seen all sorts of answers to this question. Some get ultrasounds almost every appt and some only get like one. I got one at 8weeks, 16weeks, 19weeks, 24weeks and 30weeks. No complications for me, just measuring a little ahead :)

Same here. One ultrasound in the beginning to confirm pregnancy and one in the middle for lots of measurements. I only received another one with both pregnancies once I was overdue and they were so quick to confirm fluid levels that I barely got to see the screen.

Depends on your doctor. My last one was at  22 weeks and my doc says no more unless there is some sort of complication.
