AWESOME ADVICE: find yourself a supplemental nursing system (even if u have to order online) it very well could save your experience. I kinda looks like an upside down with a very small tube attached that you put to your nipple while breast feeding. That way you can get her the extra she needs and even control the flow. Otherwise she might get used to the faster flow of the bottle.

If you can, pump away and freeze your milk.

I agree with the other poster try pumping for now. I know that breast feeding is important touyou but right now the most important thing is to get your baby better. Severe jaundice can lead to a lot of developmental problems. My last baby also had bad jaundice. She had to stay on a billibed and I could only hold her to feed or change diapers. I had to always offer a bottle every two hours even if she wanted to sleep or didn't want to eat. It helps to flush them out faster. We also had to do daily blood draws. The quicker you can get your baby better the sooner you can try breast feeding again

I'm sorry. Can you pump for the time being? That way your milk won't dry up and they should be able to add breast milk in with formula. It's better for your baby anyways so I don't see how it could be a problem. You are the mom's and either way they feed her they can give formula or best milk I would think
