no contractions at 40+ weeks

I am 40w and 3 days with my 2nd child i am not having any contractions. I have had none my whole pregnancy how can i bring on contractions so i can try for a vbac.

Castor oil is NOT healthy! Please don't do that. Anyway, from what I read & my doctor has told me, natural ways to induce labor are-Stripping the membrane (this your doctor does) Nipple stimulation- this can be by hand or breast pump. Sex-seamen softens the cervix/vag walls and lots of walking! I also read a lot of women have contractions after drinking Red Raspberry Leaf tea. But it has to be the natural kind, not artificial. Pinapple doesn't help.. you'd have to eat an insane amount. Neither does spicy food. That's all I eat! Lol

Sex is one of the easiest ways to induce if that's wat ur asking and u can walk i heard pineapple and spicy foods too they say castro oil but i wouldn't do that cuz i only asked if it works and they said it will be a mess if it does work since it fives u diarrhea lol
