I agree to wait, &/or get a second opinion. They can take blood to detect if you're pregnant (cannot think of what it's called that they look for). I had a miscarriage at abt 8wks. They did bloodwk once a week or so, since I was letting my body take care of it. Since the levels were going down it was reassurance that the diagnosis was correct & that my body was taking care of things. So sorry you're going through this, regardless of the results! :(

I was 12 weeks when my twins died, we had a dnc but that was after I saw no heartbeats for myself on the ultra sound. I'd wait longer, I kept thinking what if they came back so be as sure as you can be.
The hardest part, for me, was the tube they put down my throat bbecause they put me to sleep. Other than that it was the pain of not bringing my babies home.

I didn't find my baby heart beat until I was 10 weeks.... I went at 7 weeks and didn't even see the sac. But I knew I was pregnant. Doctor said it jest was way to early and the baby needed more time to settle in my uterus... In sure enough at 10 weeks there it was... So i would jest wait a little longer.. Babies take there time settling in... It's always still hope... Don't give up... Good luck..

I agree....wait a little longer. I read a couple posts on here with women who went through the same and found a heart beat a couple weeks later. Im sorry your going through this. Good luck!!

I would wait a little longer, just in case they aren't able to actually detect the heartbeats yet.

My Dr told me to not worry if they couldn't detect a heartbeat before 10 weeks. I can't imagine what y'all went thru/ are going thru. :(

I agree that you should wait a little longer before going that route. There are stories of babies' having a heart beat just a little further along.

I would wait a couple of weeks before making a decision.  Are you sure your dates are correct? Is the baby developing?

I know this is hard but I went through this 4 years ago and the dr opted for me to have a natural miscarriage...it was awful and painful. I also retained tissue so I ended up with a dnc 2 months later. Things would have been easier to just do the dnc and get it over with. Please take drs advice and do it. Better mentally and physically to get it over with and not see what you have to pass naturally. Good luck and I'm sorry.
