When did you meet your delivery doctor?

I am almost 21 weeks pregnant and I have solely been dealing with my nurse practitioner during every doctors visit. When did you ladies meet your delivery doctor? Is it weird that I have not met her yet? This is my first pregnancy so I don't really know what's normal. Thanks in advance.

My doc seen his patients directly in every doc visit. He doesn't like for anyone else to see his patients.  He said if he has an emergency then he will but other than that it will always be him. I'm 31 weeks n I have never seen anyone else but him.

I've seen all the possible midwives that could deliver my baby. Who would deliver would depend on who is on call the day I go to into labor. However, now they're talking possible c-section so I meet the doctor for it next week, at just under 37 weeks.

I met mine at my first visit too. I wouldn't worry about it too much, though, because its never a guarantee that your OB will be on duty when the time comes.

Wow really. .. I meet my doctor on my very first visit!   She has also delivered 2 of my other sons. I don't think I could go to an office that the doctor doesn't take the time to meet and check me until I deliver.

I don't have a delivery doctor. I see the same midwife, but the doctor that delivers my baby will be whoever is on duty that day.
