no weight gain 2ND trimester

Im in my 2ND trimester and haven't gained any weight... In fact I have lost 9lbs and it worries me because this is my 4th child and I usually gain between about 30-45lbs during pregnancy. Baby is fine and doing well, I have upheld my appetite and eat alot, so I don't understand what's happening. Freaks me out.

I lost 25lbs and only gained about 10 back. I'm 30 weeks with twins and the babies are great. Hey as long as the babies are great and gaining and on track let the weight stay off right? Usually for some women don't get hit with the weight until the last 3months. Just keep eating right and a little bit of excise it'll be ok. If you're OB isn't concerned then don't stress about it

I'm the same way I am 25 weeks and still in the negatives. I lost 15lbs my first trimester due to morning sickness, gained back 3, and then lost 1.5... I've gone for ultrasounds, met with a dietitian, and had my thyroid checked. I'm fine and baby's fine. I am eating smaller portions bit getting enough calorie wise. My Dr isn't too concerned since everything is normal otherwise.

I'm 21 weeks and I haven't gained any weight either, but my baby is doing great! I haven't been able to keep anything down and my Dr. has changed my meds three times for me to keep food down. I'm just now able to keep food down with the med I'm on now. I wouldn't worry if the Dr isn't and long as your baby is doing fine.

I was the same way.. I am 36 weeks and  5 days and i didn't start gaining weight till  3rd trimester.. I was 180- and now I am 202 and i feel so big now.. with my other 2 boys I was 250.. so I love that i didn't gain to much weight with this pregnancy.. don't worry you and baby are good. You will gain weight in your 3rd trimester..

I have a Friend who was overweight pre-pregnancy and Dr told her instead of her gaining weight she will focus on eating healthy and losing weight

I wouldn't worry too much if the Dr isn't worried. I've read other posts on her the last 7 months and it happens to some.  Just as long as baby is healthy and growing.  It also depends on what your weight was before pregnancy
