First timer as well Plz help!

I just found out last night that I'm pregnant.  I'm 23 and will be giving my parents their first grandchild. They said my blood level was 209. Is that normal? ? They think I'm around 3-5 weeks

I was 6+1..via measurement and 7+3 lmp and couldn't see anything but yolk sack with a heartbeat with this baby ... Never seen that before . but am now 25+1 doing great. I was 10+3 with my first and seen him and 7 something with my 2nd and seen him... He didn't look like much other than a blob with tiny nubs.

Not until at least 6 weeks.  I saw my little nugget for the first time at 7w2d... And s/he was a pretty good size.  :-). Good luck.

Thank you everyone!  I'm suppose to go in tomorrow to check my numbers and see if they doubled. But like I said this is my first time so of course I'm nervous and my mom is a Rn and thought 209 might be low. And in my ultrasound they didn't see anything. About how far along can yo u start seeing something? !

They should double up.. only your dr would be able to tell you. Its very exciting on your first sonogram and even more incredible when you see the heart beat :) good luck

I think you're just fine. They'll tell you if there is a problem :-)

Everyone is different and there are ranges for HCG.  What you should be doing is looking at a series of numbers.  Test, take a day off, test again.  Your numbers should double.  If they are doubling, that's a good sign.  Good luck and congrats.
