2 Heartbeats on Doppler

Hey ladies,
I am 12 weeks with my first pregnancy, and I was listening to baby's heartbeat with our Sonoline B Fetal Doppler, and I heard two very distinct heartbeats 3-4 inches apart. Both were very loud, one was in the mid 140s, the other in the mid 150s. I know it wasn't my heartbeat, since mine ranges from 70-100, and my placenta and artery pulses are consistently between 125 and 130. Do you think it's twins?? They run both my husband and my families. Please sharw your thoughts! The suspense is killing me! Thank you in advance :)

I think there is a chance you could be having twins.
