vbac or c-section

My first pregnancy ended in a c section and not by choice. This time around I really want to to a vbac... My partner doesn't understand why I would want to do that. The hospital I am currently going to doesn't do vbacs... So I'm conflicted on what to do..

My local hospital will not allow a vbac if you have had 2 c sections. so if you would like to have a natural birth that would be something you might want to look into. in order for me to even try for a natural birth i have to drive instead of 5 min. to the hospital it will be a 2 hour drive to a hospital that will let me try a vbac. and dont let the doctor push you into any thing make it your choice.

Since it was at another hospital they want to wait till they get my medical records before they advise me. But I was two and half weeks late and my son was 8.14 and got stuck.

Were u given the option to have a vbac?? My 1st was a c-section due to him getting stuck in the birth canal and he was not even a 7 pounder.. This time around doc told me same thing would more then likley happen so I will have to have a c-section again... "/
