Water breaking

Am I suppose to expect a big gush of water coming out? My mucus plug came out about 5-6days ago and of course I still wear my panty liners at night when I go the use the bathroom I'm consitanly changing them because there wet. Not sure if it's my water I not. I'm not in any pain besides the fact that it's hard for me to walk. Hve a dr appt. Later today will ask her. FYI last week I was 3cmm n currently 38weeks will be 29 on Wednesday.

Go sit on the toilet and cough.... Don't pee... After you cough and you feel and if you hear liquid go in the toilet your water is broken... It's called a slow leak.... I had it with both my girls

The only time I had my water break it was a small light flow, almost like I was peeing.  Good luck to you lady!

It could be a huge gush, it could be a small trickle, or your water could not even break at all and your doctor would have to break it for you

It could be ur water. With my first it didn't break completely and I only had a small trickle of water come out out for several hours (i thought my son was on my bladder and just causing pee to leak out). My parents said it was best for me to go in and get checked... Sure enough my water had broke I was 37+5.
