ob said 37 weeks is term.

I thought it was 38 weeks

37 is considered early term. 38-40 is term. 41 is Considered late term.

It's actually 39, guidelines changed about a year ago for ACOG and March of Dimes standards of care. 37-38 weeks is "early term" and 39-41 is "full term" and much safer. Your doctor must not be up to date on the latest research and safety recommendations. I'd wonder what else your ob hasn't learned...yikes.

It was 36 weeks now it is 37 weeks.

I knew it was 37. I had one kid at 37 weeks he was considered term, n my doc just induced me @37 weeks w my 3 yr old.
