odd question lol

So im just was wondering do u have to lose your mucus plug to go in labor? Cause I haven't and doctor told me im in pre labor.

With both my children I didn't loose it until I was actually in labor at the hospital

No you do not I haven't lost mine yet I'm 3 1/2cm dilated

April with you being two cm you may be in active labor before you lose your plug.

No I didn't with my first bubs after about 12hrs of contractions my when mw did a strech and sweep to remove my plug and get labour more established.  I was soon in full on labour. Mw had to break my waters to. All the best I hope you have a lovely bith experience.  :-)

You don't have to lose your mucus plug but you can let him think that.

Good to know, i am one cm and my hubby is too scared to do it thinking he will come early. Im being induced on the 19th and he doesnt want him out before then... But i do lol. Ill keep letting him think that i have to lose my plug first. :-) good luck mama

No, I didn't lose mine until I was 5cm dilated.
