My friend took it with her 6th pregnancy from week 37. She went into labour naturally, on her due date, all the other pregnancies shes had to be induced as she doesn't labour by herself. Also she was 7cms dialated by the time she started to feel contractions. So I'm definitely going to give it a go this time round
I'd try it but I'm scared :/
I used it for the 1st time with my 3rd baby around 36 weeks 1st orally (1 3 times a day) for around a week & then vaginally 4 at once at night as it dose seep out! While ive never gone passed my dd with any of my pregnancys I had never had a show with my 1st 2 but I did this time & went into labour that same eve! I never had stiches either :-) I told my friend to try them & she had her baby on time & no stiches! So I dont think it brought on my labour but I do think it made the process easier...I also took raspberry leaf capsules from 34 weeks & 2 days before my dd after my s&s I used an aroma therapy oil called clary sage-u mix a few drops with a little milk & add it to ur bath I also got my hubs to massage me witb the oil & put it on my pillow at bed time :-) all worth a go! Good luck :-)
I was looking into it. Then I read some. stuff I didn't like. Apparently they have done studies And it has the same effects as heparin. It thins your blood. If you have to have a emergency c section then it can cause extreme hemorrhage. I wouldn't use it personally they have no studies showing that it actually helps with your cervix.
Let me know how it goes for you. I think I'm going to get some tomorrow.
I just purchased some tonight. I've gotten mixed reviews on it from other mothers, but I am trying it tonight to see how it works...
