Finding out the sex of the baby or waiting?

We have decided to wait until birth to find out the sex of the baby. Im so excited because I am usually the one to need control of all situations and it feels really good to just let it go. And wait it out. Anybody else waiting it out? why or why not?

We are waiting. I'm excited for the surprise...its like a crackerjack box haha... plus...think of the money you save! If you know what you are having, you can't resist the urge to buy every little cute pink or blue thing you see...whereas if you don't know, you don't spend!

im waiting for the same reason! i generally need to have control of everything.  and this is maybe the first time in my life were i feel the ability to let go to. i love my baby insane amounts already and not knowing only intensified that feeling because i get to anticipate their gender and who they'll look like! i dont normally like surprises but this is one that i couldn't be disappointed in so im looking forward to that moment when i deliver and they tell me its alittle baby boy or girl. we've got names for both picked out. and decorating thr nursery has been easy because gender neutral is so popular now anyway. and i kinda like the idea of not pushing gender stereotypes on my child. im almost 29wks and my pregnancy is flying by i dont know if that's because i dont know but i have noticed most women who know seem to get impatient. also i dont know if your at the point of planning your birth plan but not knowing the gender tends to be strong reason for women to push once its time because your moments away from knowing. :)

We find out tomorrow. :-) I would love a surprise, but we have two girls and if we are having a boy, we have nothing prepared. I don't like the idea of having to buy a bunch of stuff fresh out of the hospital, for many reasons.

Nope! I found out because I don't like the gender neutral clothes, plus I like to give them a name. I'm having a girl and her name is Alainnah! She's already got a personality of her own!
