Hi I just found out yesterday that we are expecting our first.  We haven't got into the Dr yet but by looking at my last period I'm about 6 weeks and 6 days. What should we expect during the first 3 months

Thanks ladies we are nervous, excited and everything.  I have had some slight spotting but Nothing to actually worry about but I've also been having bad heartburn and can't stand the taste of tums and I've slept all day and have been really nauseous but no throwing up yet but I've been told it will hit soon.  And my boobs aren't even tender or will that come later. And once again thank you ladies so much

Every pregnancy is different, some women experience symptoms immediately, some don't experience them at all. I had an easy ride through the 1st and 2nd trimesters, but as soon as I hit the 3rd, I started feeling miserable. Through reading through these ladies posts I have found it to be common to spot during the 6-8 week, it's just implantation bleeding and should only be worried about if there is a lot of bleeding. Just be sure to eat healthy, take your prenatal vitamins and try not to stress out a lot.

My hubby and I are expecting our first as well. Im 31 weeks though and enjoying my belly bump. First every pregnacy is different so best advice is roll with the punches. I experienced extreme nausea but only actually threw up once out of my whole pregnacy so far. I just counted my blessings amd kept it pushing. Most women complain about the first trimester because it can be a doozie for some but enjoyed it as much as I can. I say that because it gives you a glimps of what kind of father your better half is goingto be . I was pampered and spoiled rotten my first trimester. I got breakfast in bed late night runs for cravings. Emotional break downs in stores (yes that happens) or at home was excused and catered to with love and underatanding. He was amazing. It gave me hope of what raising our little one would be like. So I would say expect mood swings, morning sickness that last more thwn in the morning, and cramps. But on the positive side expect to be truly taken care of and looked at in a way that is indescribable. Its nothing like that look the love of your life gives you when he knows your protecting his precious little one. Amazing is all I can say. Have fun and congrats again.

Congrats!! :) , Every pregnancy is different but some normal things you might experience during this time is extreme fatigue, nausea, boating, and cramps. Once your doctor confirms your pregnancy you'll most likely be referred to an obgyn or midwife and they will see you around 12 weeks most likely. You should start taking a prenatal vitamin, if you get some with iron in them they may cause an upset stomach so keep an eye out for that. Also, make sure you are drinking a lot of water, at least 60oz a day! Congrats again!
