overweight!

Hi Everyone..feeling a little paranoid about my weight lately.. ive had a problem with my weight for afew years now, depression hasnt helped and when i got pregnant (2nd baby) i weighed 17stone exactly...i didnt gain or lose a single pound until i was 20 weeks and since then i have gained quite alot and i now weigh 18 stone 5lb (im now 32 weeks). I feel disgusting and its really getting me down. I hate going to appointments i feel like im being judged on my weight and looked at wierdly and stuff, really uncomfortable and i feel fat not pregnant. The babys dad left for no reason or explanation just over 3 months ago and i havent heard off him since and i dont think that is helping me atall self confidence wise. Im determined to hit the gym and join a slimming group when ive had the baby and get back to my former happier self. Is anybody else feeling the same?

I feel your pain, ladies. I have always hated having to weigh in because I dread the number I'll see. I always gain right from the very start, so be glad you waited until halfway done. Your gain sounds very reasonable to me. Ive gained that much and iI'm only 21 weeks. : (  The good thing is, breastfeeding and daily walking has always taken all the weight right back off....so far. I'm always concerned about it, but I get hungry and have to eat.

Thanks.im hoping i will lose it quickly (fingers crossed) Ive gained 19 pounds and i dread stepping on the scales. I think my problem is that i was overweight before getting pregnant and it feels like its getting out of control. I need to gain some confidence

Try not to worry the weight is always something that can be dealt with later and babies make awesome walking buddies to help start getting back into shape

Don't worry your not the only one. Before I got pregnant I was getting to the 180 because i was losing weight and now I gain over 70 pounds. I feel like all the hard work I did was for nothing . Every time I step in the scale I gain 5-10 pounds. I cry when I see my before pregnant picture. I just hope I lose at least half of the weight :-(
