Your doc sounds a little mean and cray cray! It doesn't mean you will have a big baby if you're overweight! If you have gd then yes you could possibly have a big baby but even if your baby is big that doesn't mean you can't deliver vaginally! There is a Facebook page called birth without fear and it has been so positive and uplifting and dispels some of the common myths about csection and stuff. I mean sometimes you do have to have a csection for medical reasons but it shouldn't be the 1st thing they jump to!
Ok she's mean!!! But with my first I was 125 and delivered at 180 and he was big 8 lbs 4 oz but I had him natural, no medical tools needed, no ripping or tearing. Good luck mama. I would schedule to have a ultrasound to measure baby before electing c section. Those are I think 80% correct
I gained a lot and I don't pig out.
It's not your fault your body is hungry.
I stopped eating red meat I have a lil chicken twice a week.
I made the choice to only drink water and milk, cranberry juice only when I feel heartburn because of the taste that comes up.
I was 115 when i got pregnant with my first and by the end of my pregnancy i was 200 my son was 7lbs 2 oz and perfectly healthy i had no gd or any other complications it was just how my body reacted to pregnancy
Yeah swimming is one of the best for pregnancy. Don't worry too much. That's not really that bad. And losing the baby weight will be a challenge but not impossible. I lost all my extra weight (60lbs gained during pregnany) pretty quickly. It's harder and harder with following pregnancies. If you work out after you will lose it.
You guys are making me feel so much better!, thabk you ladies. I was soooo worried. What type of excersise can i do other than walking and swimming? Is it safe to swim at 32 weeks
